The 2023 TMEA Music Festival went smoothly on July 8-9, with the Guardforce Macau security team providing one-stop security services throughout the event, beginning from construction of the stage.

The first group of Guardforce security guards were stationed at the site at the newly reclaimed area near the Tourist Tower from July 4, guarding the venue overnight in two shifts to ensure the safety of the event’s staff and facilities.

The Guardforce Macau security team deployed 200 officers at various posts across the event venue to maintain order and manage crowds. To ensure the safety of all performers, staff and the audiences, Guardforce Macau also deployed an electronic security system, with metal-detecting gates at the entrance to heighten the security level.

Security for large-scale events must be meticulously planned with all details covered. Event held outdoors present different variables to be mindful of. With more than 35 years of history, Guardforce Macau uses its experienced security team and technology to secure the first line of defence for this event and ensure the music festival was held smoothly.
